In 1982 Helmut Erb established the German Baroque Soloists (Südwestdeutsche Barocksolisten) consisting of high trumpet, 3 oboes, bassoon, double bass and harpsichord, which places great importance on technical ability and disciplined sense of unity. Helmut Erb re-arranges original pieces for this both unusual and charming sound formation according to Baroque tradition, which he suits to the special needs and capabilities of the seven musicians. |

For example the Hambacher Schloß, the Kaisersaal in the monastery of Ottobeuren, as well as the Zedernsaal of the Fuggerschloß; in Schwabia have previously served as suitable backgrounds for their concerts. |
